Jan. 1st, 2018 06:30 amMom had some errands to run, and I came with her just for a chance to eat out and make sure she'd pick up my allowance for this week.
The first place she went, after having called first, was Applebee's, where Brian had left his wool hat the other night. I happened to enter an office of some sort, since the door there was closest, and the person I spoke to took only a moment to retrieve it.
With that, I later spoke to Mom about the possibility of Brian asking the staff at Brassica in person about those two Tart volumes when he's back in Boston. Mom has suggested we hold off on buying any new copies for the time being, and since Dad will also be going there with some furniture, I suppose I will call him instead to remind him to ask Brian whenever he has a moment. (Will have to make sure he doesn't bring it up while they're in the middle of arranging things, since he'll probably forget by the time they're finished.)
I later noticed that Brian had left Oriko home, along with the other Tart volumes and Homura Tamura (which I gave him during his Thanksgiving visit, after the idea of alternate universes first came up). However, The Very Soil, which was also stacked with all those, isn't there anymore, so I'm guessing he took just that to read at his leisure so that he wouldn't forget anything else somewhere like he's done twice already. (Brought it up with him on Facebook, minutes after his previous session ended, but he never responded even in at least one later session. Good thing I'm planning to switch focus to Pokemon pretty soon.)
