And at long last, here is Starbound, chapter 6!

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8895129/6/Starbound

While posting it yesterday morning, I happened to notice that the title for chapter 3 was missing from the chapter itself, and then realized that, then again, "It All Makes Sense", ironically, doesn't make sense. It was meant to refer to several different lines of dialogue from in front of the twins' house, but just as ironically, I then realized that the next chapter's title would've actually been more suitable for that one instead, and went on to re-title that one as well.

After having already been refunded for both my failed previous contests, I drafted up this story's contest on Upwork, but then took some time to decide if anything more should be done before I actually launch it. I later asked Brian to help me revise the following items in particular (I previously had him just go over the whole thing):

[Will need help on how to explain ironic distance.]

[Also need help understanding how Earthbound creator Shigesato Itoi created various arcs to span various locales or cover multiple storylines each, particularly the majority of the second half of that game.]

In-between drafting the terms up and contacting Brian, I took the time to read another Tintin book, Cigars of the Pharaoh. How all its events are strung together, leading Tintin from one situation to the next while all still revolving around a drug-and-weapon cartel, and especially how he winds up traveling between three different countries in such a way as to flow naturally with the plot, is exactly what I'm hoping to achieve with Starbound.

That said, I have also noticed that both that book and Tintin in Tibet span several weeks each. This raises concerns for me, regarding how long each story arc will be able to span for if certain events are to take place at a specific time period.

For starters, I have established Rokuna's birthday (outside the story itself) as November 8, based on one of several numbers I generated for several different characters but chosen for just after the Lucky Star anime ends with Ryouou's yearly arts festival. Doing the math, that puts the story so far at the 13th, but for plot-related reasons, the party will need to be back in Japan by December 20 (Yutaka's birthday, as per the manga, who will become important in the endgame, w/ certain events also planned for New Year's Eve). In-between points, though, there will be business to take care of in Great Britain (where Maria will join them), Brazil (for Davì), the Mediterranean (Nurşen), and then Bermuda, from where everyone will all be forcibly spread apart throughout the world and need time to regroup before returning to Japan. I plan to play things by ear, but if those two books are anything to go by, whatever adventures Rokuna and her friends will all have might end up being rushed in comparison.

For the record, yes, I have heard of this trope called Traveling at the Speed of Plot. But, assuming the party actually commutes everywhere more practically than on foot most of the time, will everything planned still be feasible as such?
