Mom has been sick since Sunday, and stayed home from work yesterday.

-----

Had the same experience as on Visual Boy Advance upon starting Mother yesterday, even though I do recall my mileage varying with each new trip from my house to Mother's Day and sometimes building enough to buy a Slingshot. I'm able to apply battle-specific instructions onto my walkthrough, which should serve the purpose why I'm writing it and help Brian get through the game more efficiently, but other than that, I cannot wait to be done with that version of that game and just come back to the NES version whenever I decide to play it again.

Having also revised other bits and pieces so far, I might also play through Mother 3 again at some point for a walkthrough revision while I still have it, once I get around to reading the player's guide for anything I might've missed. Since it will be a while longer before I give that to Brian, there are certain things I'd be glad to do over. This is not something I would've done right after beating it once last summer, though; I was actually expecting to visit him much sooner thereafter, before deciding instead to let him keep my Switch for Breath of the Wild (which he actually mentioned later having started over with and, in general, playing for less than an hour each day) when I decided to ask Mom for Super Paper Mario for Christmas instead of Disgaea 1 Complete and The World Ends With You. (And now, hopefully, I might actually be able to receive both those games and another one in one shot.)

(Not a priority. I would like to play Super Paper Mario, Phantasy Star, and at least one game I actually end up getting for my birthday first, and then I will probably ask Brian first where he actually is in Mother 1.)

Chelle had cleared things up, saying that she actually wants individual character files themselves, even if they happen to be minimalistic compared to Maria's already in place. This might actually negate the need to repost the Starbound position on Upwork for now; should be able to take care of that whenever Brian comes home, which he did agree to on Facebook, if Roberto doesn't get back to me first.

-----

It was during 2003 when I would start buying Newtype magazine from Borders every now and then. In turn, it was from there where I found out about this online store called Robert's Anime Corner Store, which I would browse every now and then for the next few years.

By 2008, when I actually started going out of my way to watch new anime, renting from Netflix for a few years, I had long forgotten about RACS. However, just a few days ago, I randomly remembered its different girls who appeared in its ads, all of whom were lined up in tiny icons somewhere on the site at one point, and decided to come back to it. I visited a page showcasing some of said ads, but some of them didn't appear, and I contacted someone on Facebook, who told me that it loads fine on Internet Explorer and Firefox.

I then asked if there was any compilation of the girls themselves somewhere, and he told me there used to be, complete with biographies, and while they might consider rebuilding that, doing so would take some digging up.

Obviously, nothing to hold my breath over, but I might ask again in a few years if I ever re-read this post after it long falls out of mind.
