dmxratedMom was already planning to drive down to Aunt Allison's yesterday for a yard sale that she's hosting today, and Marie had decided to go with her after changing her visitation plans to arrive here beforehand. They are coming home tonight, and then tomorrow, if Marie's not feeling too tired, Dad might drive me and her to Grandma Barbara's for until Tuesday, something that Mom first suggested last Tuesday night.
Wednesday was supposed to be the day I get back to Starbound once and for all, after writing up the contents of a planned email for Food Fantasy's development team. In practice, I was barely able to get, like, three lines of writing in, due to the excitement of having Marie come over a week earlier than planned originally and actually confirming certain plans for Virginia that Mom told me earlier this summer were unlikely due to how much else she and Dad had to take care of. Having received more input from Chelle to account for, while I am grateful for it, did not help my focus either.
Yesterday, I focused mostly on remaining preparations from the day before. Was also going to play another game someone suggested, just to get my mind off of Food Fantasy once and for all, but as it turns out, it's not even out here yet. (That might also be a good thing, though; if I check back in time to pre-register, I will be glad to be around for that game's launch.)
Having just woken up right now, I'm thinking I might take today to try out Super Paper Mario once and for all, just to get over this current withdrawal. Not planning to take the Wii down with me to continue playing, though, given how briefly we're planning to stay there; already planning to read some manga and get some more writing in, but today can be sort of a practice round in case I do anything wrong that I might want to do over when we're back. (I did consider Disgaea as well, since I probably could play that down in Virginia and maybe even in the car, but that's probably gonna take me a lot longer to complete, which would keep me longer still away from Starbound when I wind up invested in this, and I am sort of way overdue to play SPM already.)
