We and our extended family all gathered at Uncle Robby's house to see baby Medina Rae, for the first time for many of us, and also to celebrate, Mom, Grandma, and Adrian's birthdays together.

Cousin Dennis now has a small black dog whose name I forget. (Can't ask at the moment, because everyone else is still asleep.)

For Grandma's birthday, Mom made a spumoni ice cream cake, but forgot to remove a layer of wax paper between those of the cake and ice cream. That made it awkward for Aunt Allison to cut, and we had to remove it from each individual slice that we got.

Should have brought more manga than just my one volume thus far of The Isolator. To begin with, my mind was actually kinda full with ideas for my upcoming fic during the ride out, but just a month ago, I managed to pass time on our much longer ride home with just half of Hatsune Miku: Mikubon (a single-volume yonkoma manga) during our much longer ride home from Virginia, pacing myself between chapters, so I suppose I had reason to believe that that and two other manga books I have yet to finish would've been redundant. (Well, least I'll still have those for our upcoming trip to Grandma Barbara's.)

mariofan48 had gotten back to me yesterday. I never bothered to fire up my laptop, and only read his message upon waking up an hour ago, but he told me he remembers reading and loving Blood's different Lucky Star fanfics all those years ago, citing Broken Dreams in particular as an example. I should take that as a cue to get around to hosting that, along with The Loss of Innocence before it, once I finish writing my own fic. (Still not gonna rehost Bonds, but I'll be sure to offer him a copy of that too.)
