dmxratedBrian spent several nights at Emily's family's house. Marie's boyfriend Drew came over several nights ago.
Two days ago, after Brian and Emily came over, the four of them went over to the Vanderbilt Museum. I stayed home, because there wasn't gonna be much to do there besides looking at stuff.
Mom and I later ran some errands, and agreed to watch an episode of Madoka back home. Just before said episode ended, our Internet connection crapped out, and the others couldn't even watch anything on YouTube. (Brian did eventually get it running again on Dad's computer and the TV.)
At some point, Brian and Emily left, so I went with just Marie and Drew to Friendly's, something Marie wanted to treat Drew to since it has no locations on the west coast. The two of them got a Monster Mash Sundae to share, and I initially ordered a limited brownie-batter sundae that I saw advertised on a poster. The waiter told me that that had actually run out, so I just ordered a Cone Head, the other kids-menu "face" sundae, to complement what Marie and Drew got.

My Internet connection failed to improve in the morning, although I was able to connect through my laptop. Mom and I finished that episode on DVD, and I decided at some point to turn my computer off, and to blow it out while I was at it.
Went with Marie and Drew to Bagels Your Way Cafe for lunch. Ordered this ham sandwich called a Bronx Bomber, and I didn't like it very much. Took half of it home, and Mom agreed to spruce it up somewhat, especially since Drew had given us a ham for Christmas.
Drew tried looking into fixing my connection, having mentioned some knowledge about computers on our way to lunch, but failed. However, I then showed him and Marie what I have of THIS IS IT! and my various food icons to date. With the former, he mentioned someone in Game of Thrones having been broken down similarly to Konata in Cries Unheard, which involved his name being changed like hers was when she was then forced to act like a dog. With the latter, Marie asked me what several different things were, one of which was a candied bird's nest (the Food Soul having only been leaked from outside the wiki), and Drew recognized it as something that actually exists (popular in China, where Food Fantasy itself comes from).
Brian came home later, and managed to fix it. I took care of a few things in the house and then had a walk in order not to breathe down his neck, and somehow, he managed to fix it simply by blowing it out. We both agreed to show him what I normally do in case there's anything I had been missing all along.
We then watched a few more episodes of JoJo, but then he had to go back to his place. He did say he'll be back for New Year's, and Marie is still going to be here until then.
