dmxratedFor some reason, my Switch showed my controllers to have more power when hooked to the console than when not; I only realized this after getting a low-battery warning even after having already recharged the system a few days earlier in anticipation to a hurricane we were expecting. As per some instructions I had actually found before, I left the system on sleep mode with the controllers attached, and went out to chop and stack some more wood, and they actually did recharge.
I also mentioned the work I did to Dad at some point, and he said "Let's get that done." That made me tense at first, like he would get on my case to come out to do some more work while I was playing my game, but at the same time, it was still some of the cooler hours of the day. But then, I began to agree, figuring that I'm already pretty close to the end of that whole thing and might as well start finishing up at this point.
Did so much work throughout the day that I actually woke up only half an hour ago, having slept in even after it got light out, as opposed to around the crack of dawn.
(I had also begun losing momentum since the day prior, and don't expect to continue at this point. Annoying as it may be that I've found myself aborting yet another playthrough of something, this would actually help me to focus back on THIS IS IT! for a few days once I can finally settle down, as well as returning to Wanikani much sooner than I would have otherwise, after having left that alone for a week now. Only helps that I didn't invest in Sense 1, would miss out on cooking (actually the reason I chose this particular game for now, although actually cooking would mean that I'd work on some food icons before returning to TII), and didn't get far enough in the game to bother picking up where I left off next time.)
