dmxratedThe other day, Mom asked me if I would like to go to the Smithhaven Mall for the first time in a year, and I agreed to that. We went down to Lake Grove itself at around 10:30, but our first stop was at Trader Joe's.
For lunch, we hopped over to Shake Shack for my first time just across the parking lot, and I ordered a crispy chicken burger and a cookies 'n' cream milkshake, while Mom got a smokehouse burger and some fries. When we left, she told me she had only been there once, when in first opened up in Manhattan when Marie started college at Pace University.
We decided then not to bother visiting the mall, because there wasn't much either of us actually wanted there, but we still did some shopping at the nearby Target and Meat Farms stores before coming home.
