Mom told me the other day that Emily's mother got the corvid, and she probably will not be coming home with Brian for Christmas.
Just yesterday, Emily called Mom, and I asked to speak to her. I started off by apologizing for what happened, but she said that her mother's condition isn't currently critical.
I then casually asked if Brian was there, and ended up talking to him. I thought I had already communicated to him before that I intend to seek someone capable of telling stories through game design instead of prose to be in charge of the Cibus game's story once I begin making money, but apparently, I only conveyed to him that I will not be seeking people capable primarily of creative writing. Recently, he suggested something called a "spirit system", for filling in for plot points in case anyone that one would normally hinge on is dead, and mapped some thematic parallels between this movie he had me watch called Paradise Now, and both the Puellaverse and the Cibusverse. After he pointed out that my last email to him so far came off as dismissive, I told him that while I would still be open to discussing the story, I am actually not currently invested anymore in that, having more of a muse right now for game mechanics. He went on to say that that's news to him, although to begin with, I still have yet to play Lisa and create its walkthrough, in order to let him play that and see what its story is like and how it mostly avoids hinging on anyone playable besides Brad.
