Three days ago, Mom asked me if I'd like her to cut my hair, and I told her I was booked with reviews. I would have brought it up again the next day, but then she decided to take me out for a walk, and while then went out the window, I did bring up the idea of hitting the barber shop instead at some point for the first time since the pandemic hit.

Later on, she specified a whole bunch of other errands she had to take care of, with which to mingle my haircut with, I went to pull up my Wanikani schedule, which she became curious about, and we agreed upon this afternoon to take care of things. I decided from there not to revive any vocabulary until tonight at 8, and that freed me up to focus even more than I have been on listing stuff from levels I haven't sorted through yet.

Seeing how much fewer and fewer items I have burned the later I go in, I went on to decide just to cut this revival cycle short altogether. It had taken some experimentation to figure out, but nailing and decluttering stuff is what I should have been focusing on since clearing level 60, although I only naturally figured originally that doing so would overwhelm myself even with a greatly reduced workload otherwise.

It will be next September when I start burning what I've already revived, but enlightening it all is due to begin in less than a week. I only have levels 59 and 60 left to comb through before doing so again with all my remaining kanji, and then I will be sure to study each level before it comes up, amongst other things, in order to remain at least somewhat active with the program outside of reviews themselves.
