Jun. 3rd, 2021 08:36 amA few days ago, after having looked ahead on the tutorial series I was on and seeing half of what remained to be irrelevant to my own project, I looked around and found a single four-hour video instead.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4i0mtbvJn4
Had a break from the whole thing two days ago before I started watching yesterday, but Brian advised me yesterday just to watch it a whole bunch of times before I start any actual work.
He also filled me in that Emily would like to leave on Sunday. Originally, I had scheduled Suikoden II and re-reading Japanese in Mangaland for when they were supposed to leave in a couple of weeks, focusing almost exclusively on Unity so that he can help me debug things while he's still here, but those two things combined change everything. The game can wait until Monday, in order to warm up to it and maybe learn in advance how different things work within, and also so that I don't feel like I'm slacking off while he still is here. Completing the game can mark when I start some actual work with Unity, when I should have watched the video enough times to really understand what's what that the uploader describes.
