dmxratedTook to walking down Long Island Avenue instead of Masem Court these past couple of days. Yesterday afternoon, I noticed Fred Lupfer mowing his lawn, and went over to greet him. He told me that everyone is going to celebrate Peter's college graduation today.
Mom had some leftover potato salad to give to them, from after Brian and Marie left. I wonder if they'll include that in their celebration dinner?

Having recently stepped up my game to try to lose weight, there have been nights when I decided to skip dessert. Last night was going to be one of those, but even after brushing my teeth, I began craving some ice cream to wash down the cheesy aftertaste of some tuna rabbit, and at some point overheard Mom applying some whipped cream to a small sundae she was making for Dad. Not every night that she makes those; I asked if she actually was, and she made me one as well.
Glad I didn't have anything immediately after finishing dinner.
