dmxratedTried to have Mom help me build a resume without any actual experience, in order to gain access to more job opportunities, but it didn't pan out. She's been suggesting that I offer to do stuff for almost free in order to gain experience to put on one, and went on to suggest I look into proofreading instead of translating.
And what do you know, there are actually so many positions available when I type in "proofreading" that I had to narrow it down to entry-level, although a lot of what shows up is for copywriting or other things I can't do.
I only managed to apply for a few while spending more time looking through stuff when Mom wasn't in my room to guide me, before she suggested I call it a day, but one person actually got back to me almost immediately. From some instructions he linked me to, I am supposed to speak to someone on Skype, and that's gonna be the first thing I do today, after I have breakfast.
