dmxratedRecently applied to several places for a part-time job in hopes to fund my ROMhacks with.
Just yesterday, I had an interview scheduled at the Costco store in Riverhead for 11:30. Mom promised the other day to come home early from work so that we could also shop for some new sneakers at Tanger Outlets, after not liking what another store in Bellport had to offer, and from there, I figured that we could also have lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Instead of cereal, I decided to make myself some beans and corned beef hash for breakfast, so that I wouldn't be all too hungry for lunch as early as I normally am. Cooked the whole can of each to share with Dad and Brian, and was gonna wait until Dad showered off after his return from the gym before I'd start serving it, but then I noticed him spending a good few minutes on his computer and asked him about that. He suggested I let him heat it back up if it cools down, since he planned on having his usual eggs with it.

Dad and Brian talked for a few minutes about stuff after the latter came down for breakfast, and I came out to greet him. He noticed that I now wear a t-shirt and boxers to bed, and commented how odd it seemed since I used not to be able to look at him in boxers, and I commented in turn that I can't even look at Dad when he's in a towel. Dad asked what the difference is between him and everyone he assumed we showered off together with in phys ed after school, but Brian actually told him that we actually never were told to wash off. (I later mentioned that part of my aversion also has to do with my familial relationships with them.)

Mom talked me out this one time of eating out, for several different reasons, and instead offered to make lunch herself back at home.

Saw an eagle on our way home from our errands.

Haven't been able to do much with Unity yesterday. Right now, I'm trying to get some objects into a tileset, which I did pull off before, but for some reason, the tileset I created isn't registering anything.
At one point, Brian came down, I greeted him, and he offered to go over my work. We looked a little bit into, first, applying some code he shared with me on Facebook, to sync the pixels up between Ness and the map, but then he had to leave for his gym visit.
I went on to fill that time in. Was going to mow the front lawn at first, but then I noticed a large stick laying around, got one of several cans of brush that actually got picked up earlier in the day instead of this morning, and decided to gather some more brush, starting with some thistles and thornweeds that I had cut down the other day. I wound up finding even more thornweeds where I had previously noticed those, got wrapped up cutting and uprooting those, and managed to fill the can right back up, before going on to mow the sideyard and in front of our kitchen window.
Wasn't able to do more with Unity even in the evening. Already worn out by that point, and Brian was having some problems with his stomach anyway.

Had a rather productive day overall despite not being able to do much with Unity, and today, I think I'll create some new food icons until Brian and I get around to more troubleshooting.
