One change I requested for that Earthbound hack was to have Rainy Circle relocated. Obviously, I should have been more specific and asked for the opening leading thereto relocated much deeper back in the cave in question, so that players have a chance to fight the enemies present there when you return to Winters with the Sky Runner.

Orbay showed me a couple of screenshots, one of Winters as a whole, instead with Rainy Circle itself moved to where you normally fight Tessie, with the proposed exit point being the entrance to Brick Road.

But, seeing that made me realize something.

It actually wouldn't make sense to have Shrooom! relocated anyway. While I never actually noticed this before, the cave in question leads north, according to the overworld, from where Jeff leaves Brick Road.

My own assumption stems from having stumbled across Rainy Circle in the Halloween hack's corrupted version of Winters, which both inserts a "bridge" from where you'd normally ride Tessie and does away with the plateau through which the cave runs. I assumed said bridge to end where Tessie drops you off, and as close as Rainy Circle might've still been to Stonehenge, I didn't have any reason at the time to actually piece anything together.

I asked Orbay to revert that and write the actual request off altogether, but will still use the screenshots among others I'm expecting as proof of his capabilities when I seek help on ROMhacking.net and Starmen.net.

I had continued a few days ago from where I had left off some time ago with the walkthrough for a planned hack of Earthbound Zero, so that I can have Orbay on that game next when he's done with Earthbound, while I test-play that game.

Just yesterday, I finally reached the end of the walkthrough, even though there is still a lot of stuff to fill in. Spent the rest of the day until some errands we had to run mowing the front and back yards, after having started with the front the day prior.

Right now, not only should I still get back to Unity already, but I actually need a break from writing walkthroughs, now that I've concluded that one. Will need to get started on Mother 3 soon, though, so that I still remain ahead of Orbay by the time he's done hacking EB0.

Seeing how much money I'm gonna need to fund my ROMhacks, especially when there's no telling how long Orbay will be around to do them at all, let alone relatively cheaply, I considered a trip to the bank to deposit not only a fifty Dad gave me for helping him with some branches he cut down, but also enough change to fill a flower-painted tin jar that Marie had given me four years ago before leaving Boston.

Called the bank to ask about the change machine that I noticed inaccessible a while ago and assumed then was closed off due to COVID, and I was told that it's not gonna come back, but I can get rolls there instead for free.

Brought the issue up with Mom, and she asked me to look into Coinstar, which is available at Stop & Shop.

While sorting your coins is free, a direct deposit normally charges an 11.9% service fee, but makes exceptions if you cash in for a gift card.

Having had a look at what's available, there are a couple of books I've been planning to buy, which totaled out to $26 on Amazon, and now I'm glad I didn't get around to that yet. (Whatever I have left over will also come in handy for any future merchandise purchases.)

Mom was planning to drop me off for a haircut while picking up some wine, but it turns out that the place we normally go is closed for a death in the owner's family. Another place down the street also happened to be closed due to a family emergency, and said would reopen today.

Mom considered finding somewhere else, but I told her it could wait a few days, and simply came into the winestore to carry a box of five bottles for her.

We also had the library to stop at, and I decided to buy a lotto ticket in Cirillo's Market just a hop over.

Went in looking first for the restroom, was told that there is none for customers, but did notice some small trays of soft chocolate chunk cookies coming back to the cash registers, and decided to buy one.

Turns out the lottery machine is currently gone for relicencing, but at least I got something in there, and I came back to the library to use the restroom there.
