dmxratedAsked Drew yesterday morning what he supposedly remembers from Lucky Star, but from what he described, he was actually thinking of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency.

For lunch, Marie and Drew ordered a couple of pizzas from Cafe Gia. I came with them to pick it up, and ordered some garlic knots, two cups of blue cheese sauce, and an orange soda.
Had two pepperoni slices and two garlic knots, and drank more of that soda than I actually felt inclined to, figuring at first that it wouldn't be enough to have with leftovers. By the time I found myself chugging, there actually wasn't that much left, so I drank it anyway, but next time, I'll be sure just to have half the drink I buy to go with everything.

For while everyone (except Emily) was still together here, we decided to celebrate Brian's birthday more than a week early, but didn't actually sit all together. Mom put the rest of that trifle into small bowls, and poured some custard she made over it with a touch of whipped cream and a birthday candle each. We also gave Brian a fitness tracker called Fitbit Charge 5.
We also gave Aunt Marie her stocking to open up. Upon extracting the obligatory chocolate orange, she told us that Cousin David would like one of those, but they apparently aren't sold in Virginia. (In that case, we should remember to get him one of those next time we go visit them.)
Marie and Drew declined to watch Lucky Star, wanting simply to hang out with everyone for their last night here.
And, they have just left this morning.
