dmxratedCompleted chapter 3 yesterday, but while Hoggmeiser has still joined my party, I didn't get the 5000HL bonus that you're supposed to receive then. Apparently, the flag can only be triggered when you actually watch the closing cutscene for that chapter, so I should make a point of pressing ZR instead of X to get through not just that one, but all scenes in the game just to make a habit.
In any case, I am going to abort this playthrough. While I have in fact managed to do something with Unity (at least whenever I had any idea how to approach a few error messages I had been getting and finally resolved yesterday), putting the game down should help me focus that much more, now that I've at least played long enough for a change in pace from Earthbound.
So far, this playthrough has been almost perfect, insofar that I no longer find myself amassing more and more equipment from shopping. However, next time I start over, I should make a point of storing only rare, legendary, and upgraded items after checking the hospital for rare versions of each prize available, and exchanging everything else between the bag and the warehouse whenever I either propose a bill, enter the Item World, or proceed with the main story.
