dmxratedThe three of us walked at Cathedral Pines mid-afternoon yesterday. Walked two laps around the field, in lieu of one whole lap that would also circle the campgrounds.

Tried to set up episode 7 of New Game!, but ran into the same problem as before and remembered why we had to borrow that on DVD. Decided upon ep. 1 of Love, Chuunibyo, & Other Delusions instead.
Marie was up with me at that time, still waiting for Mom, and had suggested Pokemon just for old time's sake while I was setting it up.
Mom commented at one point that she likes that show a lot better than "that bloody show" we had been watching. After the episode ended, I went on to mention both Card Captor Sakura, as an example of a much more lighthearted magical-girl show, and having toyed myself with showing Mom key episodes of both Pokemon and Digimon, just to show her where my interest in anime all started. CCS just so happened to start airing around the same time, and that's where I decided to tie that in.
Went on after dinner and then this morning to see which episodes of each series are available and which ones of those I'd be most inclined to show them. Already got things settled with Pokemon and Digimon, although I would have preferred at least the latter's Japanese version for certain reasons, but the only way to watch CCS in English is through a Funimation subscription, which obviously is not worth activating in tandem with one for Hidive. (There is one version throughout Smartcast listed to have English subtitles, but its language info says it isn't subbed.)
