Aug. 11th, 2005 07:15 amWe had a lot of places to go to yesterday, but before Mom came to pick us up, I watched the Japanese Mon Colle Knights episode Ring-a-Ding Ding. Doesn't such a title usually relate to phones, as in, calling you on the phone? This episode had nothing to do with such; it's about marriage and an argument the Knights get into concerning other girls. Also, the respective box cover suggests that the Knights actually were to get married, and one of the screenshots on the back cover suggests that their friends from Mon World have been invited to their wedding. Actually, Rockna's the only one who spends part of the episode in her respective wedding clothes (unless you count Tanaka at the end), and that screenshot didn't really happen; Rockna was thinking somewhere along the lines of "I bet he's busy scoring his 'other girlfriends' right now" while she ditched him.
After that, we were gone from 12:30 Noon until 6:00 P.M. Mom had to drop Brian off at his girlfriend Talia's, and then dropped me off at Border's while Marie went to work with her. While I was there, I took out my first Japanese textbook, along with Ai Yori Aoshi (volume 3) and Monster Collection (volume 1), and it all came out to slightly more than $70. I also read the beginning of Enmusa and the first two chapters of Indian Summer (volume 1 each).
After that, we still had to visit Dr. Perret, go for Marie's doctor's appointment, deposit the numerous paychecks I still had for a few weeks now, get stuff at Sam's Club, and get my hair cut. And it all totaled out to 5 1/2 hours.
