dmxratedMom had to drive yesterday to Emily's house to pick up some kind of medicine that Brian forgot before we'd hit the gym.
At first, we were going to make a sidestop to our library, and she asked me to bring whatever DVDs I was done with. Those happened to be volumes 1-3 of K-On!, but on our way to Emily's, we debated whether I should bother looking at more DVDs there, considering how seldom we go there on the one hand but how many more DVDs I still have on the other hand. However, we didn't take long to decide that it's still a bit out of the way anyway, and she has to go to the library in Bellport today anyway; on my end, the next show I'm considering is 24 episodes long (I only have season 1), and I'm not sure if we're gonna have time to watch the whole thing before my renewals run out, but we can then finish it off on Hidive before continuing something from before there.
The two of us came right inside upon arriving at the house, and I noticed a donut box with three left in it, and asked if I could take one. Took one with chocolate icing and colored sprinkles, and Karen offered me a Ziploc bag to put it in. At first, Mom told me I could have it after we come home from the gym, but I soon mentioned that I was actually saving it for today's snack.
While they and Emily were chatting, I noticed something on their fridge, of a democratic donkey with its hind legs in the air. (Remind me to get her a certain something similar for Christmas next year.)
Soon as we left, Mom told me that while it should be okay with anyone familiar, I should otherwise wait until someone offers me anything rather than asking right away for it.

My thighs have been aching so hard from some weighted squats we did two days ago, that it hurts to walk, especially up and down stairs. That, along with Mom wanting to keep things brief for once, obviously in order to come back home in time to make dinner, led me not to bother with the treadmills, or even with my usual ab machines that would still involve them, and I instead did a total of eight arm machines for once.
