dmxratedComing off from yesterday, Emmy, Etna's Green Mage, won the race to transmigrate into a Star Mage.

Mom has had me look out at Savers these days for TMNT and Star Wars toys that Blas collects. Yesterday, I found several different action figures, most of which Aunt Allison told Mom to purchase when she showed her. One of the rejected ones, though, appeared to be of Chewbacca, but was bundled with what appeared to be characters from The Lord of the Rings or Dungeons & Dragons.

Even though I still fast-forward through torture, Mom asked me not for the first time how many episodes are left of Higurashi, to which I replied five for after yesterday's. It seemed too much left for her, having seemingly degenerated into rehashing the same story with only differences in who gets killed and how, but I argued that the actual story is beginning to make sense, and suggested we might as well finish it off.
Later when I came down for dinner, I asked Mom what she found interesting about Higurashi to begin with, but she said that it seems now to be coming back to an actual story. I then told her what the ending of Magical Girl Raising Project involves, and asked if the truth behind the death game that turned her off before might warrant revisiting that show at some point; she seemed open then to that.
