Had an interview at Marshalls in Patchogue yesterday at 9:30. Mom and I were supposed to run some other errands afterwards, but the car wouldn't start up when I came back. (Good thing that didn't happen earlier.)

To begin with, I had already been meaning to buy an SD card for my Switch, in order to properly store something presumably of Marie's that I had to archive when I bought Xenoblade Chronicles 2 months ago. Came back to mind just recently, and I had also asked Brian early on if we could eat lunch at Moe's just nearby, because this meme (fully clothed there despite its origin), the third of several dance memes I've recently come across on YouTube, has led me to consider trying out Animal Crossing: New Horizons (and yes, I know it's not canon). Would surely be a nice change in pace from Disgaea, although I haven't decided for sure yet; this being a real-time simulation game, I'll need to consider whether something like that might take over my life like Food Fantasy briefly a few years ago.

(The meme in question is normally accompanied by Camel By Camel by Sandy Marton, but I was not able to locate the part that that particular clip plays in that song; must've been from a different song of the same genre. I gotta say, though, for a couple of songs long predating similar-quality music in video games (1985, year of the NES in North America), the former song would fit better than anything during your time in the urban part of Giza planned for late in Starbound, while the latter could easily work when you're out in the desert before entering a pyramid somewhere.)

Anyway, raining so hard as it was, Mom was originally gonna drive me up to the entrance, and I originally agreed not to make her wait on me while I look around at games. Now that she ended up having to wait for a battery jump from someone from AAA, though, I ended up doing just that after finding the SD card hooks empty and having to ask a store associate for one from the stockroom. Spotted a PS4 dual re-release of Zombies Ate My Neighbors and its sequel Ghoul Patrol, and I was not surprised to see a different publisher's name attributed from either game's original, especially with one of those long defunct. (Checked out later on YouTube, and it turns out you now have to select a game and character et al before it loads said game directly to its first level.)

Shortly after coming back, Mom actually suggested that I could eat lunch at Bagel Lovers, but I found myself too full from a cheese-filled pancake from breakfast. I did consider having some ice cream for a snack at Cold Stone, but then decided instead to see what Mom would bake this weekend.

I did pay another visit to BestBuy, though, to use the restroom and check the DVD sections for any anime, but nothing caught my interest this time.

Once someone arrived and replenished our battery, we went straight home to let the car run for the remainder of half an hour as per his advice. (Mom did ask me if I would remain in the car while she runs into Meat Farms, but I declined on that, since I would've liked to come in, and we ended up postponing that and our other errands.)
