dmxratedMom had a half-day at work yesterday, but someone slammed into her front-right door just as she was leaving. I first picked up on it when Dad answered a phone call from her while I was folding some wash.
Noticed the car already in the driveway at 11:40. Came back down to vacuum the broken glass, and managed to get just about all of it.
Went back up to make myself some lunch, figuring that Mom wouldn't be able to make something for that day, given how busy she already was on the phone with the insurance company. Ate the last of some tuna that she had made the other day, but then she invited me down for a roast beef sandwich.
Currently, she is having a half-day at work each for today and tomorrow, so that she can drive me and Dad to our respective appointments while we only have the pickup on hand until she can rent a car. (Will need to call her at 10 tomorrow, since it takes her an hour to drive home and we usually head out half an hour before a given shift begins; the remaining half hour is just a buffer.)

Last night, someone on Reddit polled how you build your party in Disgaea. I summarized that I use some kind of algorithm involving dice to decide who I recruit and who to dispatch, and brought up my planned randomization walkthrough series in general, linking to my upcoming walkthrough for Getter Love!! as well as that for Disgaea 1. Someone named spawnthespy showed some kind of interest in that, and I let him know that, while I do seek ROMhacks first for anything I am interested in, I'll be sure to give Vadim the iOS or Android version of Disgaea 1 Complete to prioritize once he is all done with the Earthbound trilogy and Super Mario RPG.
