I'm writing this from Portsmouth, Virginia, just one state east of where Adalia Glenys lives.

Yesterday, a lot happened even before Marie and I boarded the plane to Virginia.

First of all, I planned on going to Borders sometime before leaving Long Island. Today, we went, and I drove all the way there, also stopping at some video store and somewhere else near King Kullen (at Mom's request). Previously, I planned to go there just to finish up Volume 1 of Sgt. Keroro, but Mom told me that I wouldn't have enough time to do that, so I ended up just buying it. Meanwhile, I did have time to read the beginning of Alice 19th and Sokoro Refugees, volume 1 each.

I didn't bother watching All My Children yesterday because Dad, Brian, and Marie were watching TV at that time. Meanwhile, while we were packing everything up, I did have time for a break, which I used to order Mon Colle Knights discs 8 and 9, for when I return from Virginia. I also uploaded a Mon Colle Knights lemon onto Adultfanfiction.net. WARNING: Don't even visit that website if you're under 18 years old. Pairing is Mondo/Rockna.

And finally, at the airport, I read what I already read previously of Sgt. Keroro while we waited for our plane. Look at that; I still have the other two manga yet to read when we return to New York.

We had a lot to talk about with Grandma Barbara while she drove us from Newport News, the place where we arrived. First of all, she has two new cats: Smokey (solid gray) and Sidvicious (solid black). I also asked her why the place we got off the plane is called Newport News if it has nothing to do with actual "news." She told me that it was founded by a man named Christopher Newport, and that news was what they called the seaways in his time. Finally, Grandma told us about someone's house that burned down somewhere around last Christmas. Some old lady and her poodle perished in the fire, and the rest of the family moved away.

I should also tell you about the underwater tunnels across the James River. They form parts of a bridge in order to allow ships to pass over. On a river that wide, it would be impossible to build a drawbridge, also due to the traffic which would be backed up for miles if it had to stop. Usually, each time we go through the tunnels, we play the breath-holding game until we leave. This year, though, I decided to give it a rest and just enjoy being underwater (and still completely dry).
