Jan. 30th, 2024 04:48 amForgot to mention, but I finally started recording Earthbound two days ago for footage to use for my video.
Yesterday, I had a slight problem with my controller. I turned it on, and this LED on the top started blinking instead of staying lit, like it needed to be recharged even though I had been charging it whenever I wasn't playing the game. Pressing Start again only caused the light to blink faster, and this issue still remained even after plugging it in for minutes at a time, each of several times longer than the last.
Mom was home, and I decided then to come down to greet her, even taking her up on some tea and a square of carrot cake. Brought The Week back upstairs, which I only retrieved the previous night since Mom and I had both neglected on Saturday.
Before I'd start reading, though, it crossed my mind to unplug and replug the receiver, and that actually solved the issue.
By that point, though, I decided just to give the game a rest, but went directly to the crossword. Mom also took me out for a haircut, something she meant to do recently and I suggested earlier in the day for my last of two days off this whole week while I'm not so tired from work. Four people ahead of me when we got to the barber shop in Patchogue, so that errand took an hour to complete, give or take. We had gotten home at around five, I didn't feel like squeezing the next part of my playthrough in-between then and dinner, and even after dinner, I planned to go to bed early since I have a shift starting at 7 this morning, just two hours from now.
