Before concluding yesterday's shift, I found a loaf of bread in a cart, and took that with me to Charley's where I'd wait for Mom. She arrived just a few minutes later, but with some shopping to do, she told me to bring it to customer service since; even though someone else already paid for it, the person responsible for checking our receipts wouldn't be able to count it.
