dmxratedSomeone working on Super Mario RPG asked the other day if he could just rebuild the game from scratch. I immediately requested my money back from escrow, concluding that he doesn't know how to disassemble ROMs. He filed a dispute, and I offered to start a new contract with the same money if he could prove that he does in fact know. He just kept demanding to get paid, and I had to block him.
Yesterday, I received an email saying that the original post has been taken down. What's funny is that I had already removed it myself after hearing that news about Epic Battle Fantasy 4 v.3, and had not reposted it even after that version was officialized, so the message must have been recycled.
In any case, I got my money back automatically, even though the arbiter could've just as easily taken it from both of us to fund the site with.
Having been caught conducting such illicit business would also be all the more reason to lay low for a while and refrain longer from reposting at all, even after Vadim completes the Earthbound Zero program.
