dmxratedMom had an operation to drive Dad to yesterday, and I had a bus arranged for then to bring me to work. Three other passengers already on when I boarded, but they all turned out to be getting off at the same stop. The bus had another passenger to pick up somewhere between Yaphank and Middle Island, but she just so happened to share my stop.

Mom has an upcoming prescription to pick up at Costco, and I thought I might get a cookie whenever she actually goes there. In case she was gonna head there after picking me up, I went to the break room to pick up my protein shake, but someone had apparently taken it. Mom had texted me that she was having a delay coming to the store, and I asked if she was going to Costco (she never answered). Went to grab a strawberry Nesquik, but the card scanner wouldn't read this discount card I received in the mail recently (gonna have to bring that up with customer service today). The person behind me offered to pay for the one thing.
I ended up storing it in the fridge, probably for the next lunch I shop around for (those protein shakes are kinda small). (Today is one of my longer days at work, but in anticipation to that Costco cookie, I'm probably gonna have just a sandwich and some watermelon-strawberry lemonade at Charley's.)
