Last week, I tried to swap a shift with Robert, but he never got back to me, and I simply had to call in sick.

Saw him yesterday morning, and he promised to check his app regularly from now on.

Asked Jeyson to do the same two hours in, but he asked instead to swap numbers with me, so that I can call or text him to check the app. (Robert did not wish to do such when I next saw him, but Nick (Richards; there's another Nick on the team) agreed in the afternoon.)
