dmxratedPurchased Earthbound USA on Amazon Prime yesterday afternoon. Managed to watch half of that until Mom had to go to Savers, at which point I came along to dine out at Cafe Gia.
Got a slice of Napoleon cake at the bakery, but then found out that there were no milkshakes, only soda and lemonade. Asked that my cake be packed to take home (to have with some regular (oat) milk), and then picked out some cherry ginger ale before ordering a breadbowl salad. (On that note, I should probably roll the bowl up after eating the actual salad next time I dine there.)

Some time after arriving home, after I managed to watch more of that movie, Mom came up to watch what I had meant to show her as a Mother's Day gift, had I not already fallen sick that day: This OVA of Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya titled Dance At the Sports Festival! (It isn't available on Crunchyroll; I went on to buy a fresh DVD set of the first season itself, where it's included on disk 2, after we finished the season proper.)
At one point, she asked me why so many Japanese schools as depicted in anime have some kind of Christian undertone, something she particularly recalled seeing in Haganai. That is something I never noticed before, and I will have to show her an individual scene each from such shows as Lucky Star or Kanon, and let her point out whatever she does notice there.
