dmxratedAll the new furniture arrived the other day, and so did my memory card.
The other day, I came back to reading Egregious Exile (a Sonic fic), and I posted a review telling the author that there was a stage called Borealis in Sonic Xtreme. This is coincidential because she created a warehouse complex called Borealis in the fic. This was her response:
Hi!
Whoa!! I had no idea this name already existed. I googled it and actually found an mp3 file for the Borealis zone. Sounds funny. Anyway, I picked this name because the place is way up in the northern hemisphere ("Boreal"). It sounded a bit dumb to me, but I thought that Dr. Eggman (who built and named the place) wouldn't necessarily take the time to come up with something too creative (puny beginning writer's excuse, but there you go).
Thanks for your note, anyway. Hope you like the story.

I started a petition yesterday, requesting Sega to apply Tiara Boobowski in at least one future Sonic the Hedgehog game. So far, Jake's the only one who has signed it yet, but you can find it here:

I also created a Fanfiction.net community about Tiara, but no one has posted to that either.
Yesterday, Mom told me that she and Dad were going to the liquor store, and I said "Have a nice trip" (something I usually say to be friendly, unlike Marie). She told Dad that that's what I say whenever she goes to the gym or the nail salon or wherever else. As a test, she told me that she and Dad would be going to Sweden the next day, and spend ten days there, and she would hope me and Marie would be okay by ourselves. I didn't respond to that one. Obviously, if they really were going overseas, they would've told us months ago.
