dmxratedFor breakfast yesterday, I was particularly interested in some chocolate pancakes while browsing the menu before we left. To balance that out, I also ordered four meat sides for protein.
The waitress asked if I would like two pancakes instead of four, an option that didn't occur to me, and I went along with that.
I had also ordered a biscuit with strawberries and cream, but ended up taking that home, along with a second Blue Raspberry Lemonade Splasher (I miscommunicated for a refill when I meant for the waitress just to top the first one off).

Aunt Marie and I watched episode 3 of Killing Slimes shortly after coming home.

Can't remember if I worked this late much sooner after I was first hired, but yesterday was the first shift in a while I had worked as late as 8:15.
Everything I had for breakfast managed to tide me over all the way until 5. My meal break was actually scheduled for 3, but this recent hire, Tyler, asked me to start bringing in entire lines of carts in order to keep up with things. Not long afterwards, he then asked me to bring in both lines and stragglers instead of focusing mainly on one or the other, I start doing that, and then he asks me to cover the left entrance for him while he go on his fifteen. I'm barely able to keep up with that while bringing mostly lines in, and after he had already returned to work out in the parking lot, I decided then just to clock out, let him know I was going on my lunch hour, and disregard his protests that I barely restocked that entrance at all. (Store's fault if it were to run out, with only two of us on the job at such a busy hour of the week, and I realized just then that I could have told him that, sometimes, you're not gonna keep up with things despite your best efforts.)
Went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe and ordered myself a bowl of mixed berry Greek yogurt (wasn't up for yet more meat since breakfast) and a watermelon mojito smoothie. Still thirsty even after that smoothie, I went back to the store and had a Body Armor that I had stored in the breakroom, before creating an account on the app like I forgot after ordering the other day. (Good thing yesterday that I hadn't ordered in advance, though.)
