dmxratedArrived to work at 6, and headed over to Tropical, but that place doesn't open until 7, when my shift was scheduled for.
Hopped instead over to Bagel Boss. Somehow, the person taking my order misheard me and gave me a plain bagel when I ordered sesame. At first, I thought I received someone else's order, but it had more texture than I normally associate with plain, so I mistook it for pumpernickel. Complained to him, and he started putting together an actual pumpernickel bagel for me while claiming that I had ordered plain. I eventually settled for that one.
Next time I order in person, I should probably make sure to have anyone taking my order repeat it back before putting it together.
