dmxratedTwo days ago, I found a cart with some bird shit on the baby seat, and went to the garden center to rinse it off, only to find that someone had turned off its entire water system. One of two associates immediately nearby tried to turn one of the hoses on, before finding out that the water wasn't reaching any of them. I wound up bringing the cart where I was told to bring damaged ones, and it never came on even later in the day.
Later on, I discover not for the first time, but only a few hours after I already told a newbie not to, that someone had moved all carts there back to the store, and extract just the one cart to bring back. I did obtain an out-of-order sign from Cecilia to tape up afterwards, but combined with a few other issues I have already had with this job, this led me to ask Doreen, who suggested I bring it up with Renee, who turned out to have already left, if there were any open positions I could start working instead.
First thing the next morning, I wrote up a summary of my issues, including the shortage of custodians and fellow cart attendants to stay on top of things, a general lack of cart maintenance, problems with the cart machines, half the corrals missing a receptacle, and the lack of a much more dedicated storage facility for damaged carts, so as to cite disorganization as my reason for seeking new employment in case I do so.

Mom came up yesterday morning with Marie, whom she picked up at the airport either that morning or the evening prior. I showed Mom what I had just written, and she suggested I talk to Brian about things when he comes later in the week and make some kind of plan then.
Marie took up the loft to sleep in while she's here, and slept until around 12:30.
Managed to show her two episodes of A Little Snow Fairy Sugar between then and the evening.
