dmxratedBrian arrived two nights ago. Mom was going to keep it a surprise, after filling me on a couple of delays on his end, but I noticed the driveway light on at some point after having gone to bed, and had to ring Mom on my phone to turn it off.
Had a short day at work yesterday, and he drove me and Marie afterwards to Buffalo Wild Wings, for which I still had a gift card from Aunt Marie for at least months (maybe over a year). Got a mushroom Swiss burger and some cheddar cheese curds for myself, and either Brian or Marie ordered a House Sampler for all of us along with their personal courses. They talked me out of ordering dessert, though, because two of the three things on that part of the menu are cake that has probably been kept around for around a month. (I wound up having a couple of cookies back home instead.)
