Aug. 8th, 2024 06:11 amTwo nights ago, Brian and Emily came up to sleep on the futon, with Maris in-between them.
Yesterday morning, upon turning my computer on, I saw that my wallpaper was gone. At first, I chalked it up to them not wanting that to shine on them while they were still sleeping, or maybe for a more comfortable space for Emily (she did say last time she was here, "Look at the rack on that cartoon!").
Texted Brian on Uguu Blue later during work about that, before remembering later that I had already powered the machine off for the night. He said he never did anything with it, and Mom said that she actually saw the wallpapers on her work computers gone, chalking it up to a Windows update or something, but also suggested that I put up something less provocative for her, Marie, Emily, or Maris to be seeing whenever they come upstairs. (I should note that my laptop actually remained untouched, though; its wallpaper was still there when I had gone downstairs to use it to clear something up for Jonathan before waking Brian up to drive me to work.)
Bringing me home, Mom went on to tell me that, just several weeks ago, another update had caused all Windows computers not to work, or something like that, such that Dad's doctor or nurse had to cancel a telehealth appointment.
Upon arriving home, I looked around at various pics of Saga, before deciding on this one of her and the main fairy trio:
