Sep. 11th, 2024 05:02 amRight after my shift started yesterday, Renee had me fill out an investigation form for taking my lunch hour half an hour too early two weeks ago. As it turns out, regardless of whatever the app says, I'm supposed to take that four and a half hours into my shift.
Went on to leave Jeyson a phone message about that, just so that he doesn't get written up as well, since he's the one who told me to take it four hours flat in, still regardless of what the app says. Will still need to speak to him in person next time I see him, just to make sure.

Ended up clocking out half an hour early, having miscalculated at some point how much time I have left. It only occurred to me that my alarm didn't go off, even though the minutes said 35, after I waited near the auto care exit and answered a few questions from Jonathan, and then called Mom at 2:48 to ask where she was, to which she asked how much time remained.
Well, I do make a point of pocketing my phone and wallet before I do anything else before heading to work, so I should make the same point of cancelling an alarm before I open the Walmart app to sign out. That way, if I misremember again what time I'm supposed to sign out around, I'll see the correct time on Simple Alarm.

During my shift, I had spotted some more comics and puzzles in a receptacle. Mom asked while driving me home if that one has the answers to the previous set, which I confirmed, but I suggested we keep this one in my room for until after we finish the crossword we're still on the best we can. She mentioned having filled her first few in before heading to work, and I decided to see what I could fill in from there.
