dmxratedAsked Aunt Marie yesterday morning if she read my entry from the day prior. Turns out she hadn't been reading it ever since Grandma died, whose account she specified she had been following through.
Emailed her a link back to that after arriving at work, just before actually clocking in. (Mom told me upon driving me home, that she found that section about such a somber song of choice rather amusing.)

Yesterday was rainy right from the start, so I wore my rain coat and pants and what I thought were my hiking shoes that Mom suggested I break in, that I had also wore the other day to dig around the roots of a plum tree that she had to cut into pieces.
At one point, I couldn't help but wonder if I had stepped on some gum, but found nothing where I felt something odd.
Before heading to Bagel Boss for lunch, I went over to the break room to take off my rain gear, and trying to kick either shoe off caused each sole to bend downward, making it clear what I had actually felt.
Called Mom after I returned to the store, to bring me my rain boots, but she was at the hospital. Thankfully, I only had an hour and a half left of working, but she did ask me to send her a picture of what was wrong.
Upon arriving to pick me up, she asked me to show her in person where the problem was, and couldn't believe that such a barely worn pair of shoes would fall apart like that, before looking at my pic and realizing that they were actually Drew's that he left behind almost a year ago now; mine were still in the box after I only tried them on once. (Suffice to say, Mom had me throw them out when we got home.)

From what Mom told me during the same ride home, Dad is about to start staying in assisted living for a week or two, where people will help him to regain the strength in his legs before letting him come back home. Aunt Marie is going to leave late tonight, and will be coming back when he's back in the hospital.

Got about halfway through Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising as of yesterday, but decided after I got home from work just to put it aside for now, after realizing several different ways I could better organize my gameplay.
Only found a few simple things to bother changing about the game itself, and since it was developed in Unity, I could probably hire Affonso to take care of those probably in January, when I'd expect to be all done with Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and have more of a budget back for Earthbound first. (Not gonna bother right now in any case, since I would like to start catching up on some personal stuff now.)
