dmxratedYesterday was my shortest day to date at Walmart, from 12:30 to 4:00.
Someone was having her baby shower in the orientation room. At first upon discovering, having never met her nor seeing such an event marked on the calendar, I figured it would be rude to just invite myself in for some food, but I later saw someone at customer service with some cake and a brownie on a plate. Asked where he got those, he told me what was going on, and that's when I decided to help myself to some of the same.
Mom had already made me a burger at home before driving me out, but had this been a long shift, I probably would've gotten some cooked foods there instead of shopping around or ordering something for lunch.
