Oct. 15th, 2024 06:51 amAt my proposal, Brian and I ate lunch out at this restaurant called Southpaw Brewing Company, right across the street from Walmart.
I ordered a Bavarian pretzel to start with, and it turned out to be big enough to share between the two of us, and to eat with our utensils. For main courses, Brian ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap, and I got a Texas BBQ burger, which I followed up with some kind of small layer cake called a Peanut Butter Explosion.
During our time there, Brian told me about how Unity is falling out of favor, and about a possibly better language than C# for Starbound, known as Rust.
(My phone read 12:20 when we first took our seats, and 1:37 shortly after we left. That place would seem viable for long days when I have an hour for lunch, although I am planning to try out some new smoothies that Tropical Smoothie Cafe had announced the other day when I resume work tomorrow.)

Brian drove me to Emily's parents' house after we left Southpaw, to see Emily and Maris. Bill was there, but Karen must've been at work.
At one point, Emily went to take a nap. I went outside upon noticing that cat from before, and sat down to hold it in my lap. Brian soon came out with Maris and played with her for a bit before I let him know I was going in to have a nap as well. He decided then just to bring me home for that, and Maris came with us as well.
