Nov. 14th, 2024 05:58 amSo it turns out that you can actually sell mobile game accounts online. Masato told me about a couple of Food Fantasy accounts on sale, one at level 113 for ¥9,999 ($66 USD).
Here's the website itself; would have to google for some North American equivalent site.

Had I known about that, I would have been more than happy to sell my old account back in 2019.
-----
Had the remaining three slices of that pizza for lunch at 9 yesterday, while awaiting a bus to pick me up at 10:15.
Arriving at work, I had just enough time to buy a snowman cake pop and a peppermint mocha at Starbucks before starting my shift.

Most people thank me for helping them load their vehicles whenever I want to bring a motorcart back or otherwise think of collecting a regular pushcart from them. Once during my early months at the job, though, I happened to startle someone with a regular cart, and she accused me of trying to rob her. Either shortly thereafter or the next day (can't remember when; I didn't mark it down at the time), team lead Christine confronted me after having received a complaint.
Shortly before I ended yesterday's shift, I approached someone in a motorcart, who at first simply said "I got this." I went to bring some regular carts inside in the meantime, and her wallet was the only thing left in the basket when I came back. Reached for that to hand to her, and she accused me of trying to "take" it for the second time. I wasn't able to clear anything up for her while she told me off, before someone behind me suggested I just leave her be and handed me his own cart.
Kept an eye on her while keeping myself busy. She soon came back inside the entrance to park the cart back, and then took out a granola bar or something to snack on.
I asked someone whose name I should've picked up where team lead Cecilia was. This person told me she had already gone home, but Lay was in, albeit on her fifteen. I told her what had just happened, just to prevent any misunderstandings in case she were to come back this morning, and she offered to let Lay and the other team leads know in advance.
(If push comes to shove, I will be more than happy to show anyone still involved security footage of me helping other customers out, as reassurance that I was not after anything still belonging to her.)

Also shortly before my shift ended, Aunt Marie had asked me if I wanted to eat out somewhere.
We went to Friendly's after coming home to wash off. I got a honey bbq burger and a choco java crunch sundae, while she had something consisting of turkey, stuffing, and gravy all together.

At one point, she mentioned that Marie my sister had recommended Lucky Star to her. We went over how little she already cared for that show's first episode. She said she likes Kanon for telling an actual story, and I specified Nekopara and Killing Slimes to tell mostly self-contained stories. While she did express preference for Kanon's overarching story, she did see an advantage of watching more episodic stories in not having to remember what happened up to a given point whenever she comes back to visit.
It only helps that episode 2 of Lucky Star actually does focus in two chunks on an exam the girls have to study for. I set that up on YouTube when we arrived back home, and she said she'd be up for more either tonight or tomorrow (we were already tired after it ended).
