dmxratedYesterday's shift was for 2:30 to 6:30.
Mom had baked an apple pie at some point early in the day, and Marie cooked or reheated some thick spaghetti with meatsauce for Aunt Marie before I showed her and Brian another Spyce episode. We each had some of both upon coming down.
Yesterday being New Year's Eve, I might've done well to have someone drive me to work early, since I noticed some kind of buffet going on in the orientation room, again open to associates.

Purchased a white chocolate peppermint mocha frapuccino with some stars during my fifteen. For some reason, the purchase did not register for this week's bonus stars event or for this week's activities in this online game called Starbucks For Life. I can see the amount spent in my order history, but unlike for what I buy through a gift card I keep reloading for extra stars, the app does not let me check back what I actually bought.
One of the baristas did give me a number to call about this, which I probably will tomorrow morning since today is a national holiday. However, I can't help but wonder if it's because I ordered without paying regular money, since the last time I paid with stars was during SFL week 1, as per an activity instruction.
If that call confirms as much tomorrow, then I will probably grab an extra drink during a fifteen then or Saturday, instead of going to the break room for one of my regular drinks.

Being Christmas Eve, the store was set to close at 6:00, half an hour before my shift was set to end. After straigtening things up in the side lot, I happened to see associates normally in charge of other positions come out to start bringing all the remaining carts inside as the parking lot became emptier and emptier of cars. Spotted three motorcarts, and managed to bring two of them in myself; rode the second one to the lefthand entrance that it was closer to, but it was closed entirely, unlike the righthand one that still had a door open with a security guard in place. I told said guard that I still had one more to bring inside before I planned to clock out, but spotted a team lead with it upon turning around.

Emily had come with Maris for dinner. They have slept in the apartment with Brian, and I am the only one currently awake. (Either Mom or Dad has turned the TV on to display the yule log, though.)
