dmxratedTwo days ago was Mom's last night that she was able to cook some ground beef for taco salad before it would go bad. Near the end of my shift, she asked me to pick up some cherry tomatoes before I come out to meet her.
After clocking out, I managed to spot a pocketful of change in the Coinstar machine, and used part of that to pay for the pack of tomatoes I'd pick up.
While actually making dinner, Mom discovered that the lettuce had gone bad, so we had some chicken-and-peanut stir fry instead.
Mom picked up some lettuce yesterday after dropping me off for the morning, but we ended up having some quesadillas instead last night.
