dmxratedMom and I are staying, along with Marie and Drew in a separate room, at a hotel in Braintree, Massachusettes, for a family get-together with Brian and Emily for Mother's Day weekend. Mom actually drove straight to the ferry to New London, Connecticut, after picking me up from work yesterday.
Right now, Emily is actually in Cleveland, but is supposed to arrive back sometime today. The rest of us had some enchiladas that Marie made for dinner when we arrived at Brian's house, followed by some tiramisu that Mom had made at home.

The hotel we've rented rooms in has a breakfast buffet that opens up at 7. I've just had an everything bagel, some sausage links, some French toast strips, and some yogurt with granola and chocolate chips, with a few refills of orange juice and a coffee I added French vanilla creamer to.
Mom had me take pictures of everything it had to offer before I started serving myself. Placed my first fill of orange juice and some napkins on a small table, but when I came back with my bagel, I saw Brian settling down with Maris, although it took a few seconds to recognize him. Marie joined us soon thereafter, followed by Mom.
