Three days ago was so hot, climbing past 90, that I wound up at one point dousing my face with a water bottle (not nearly the whole thing; I did drink everything still in it) near the end of my shift. Would have used my handkerchief to wipe up what was still on the table I had taken at Charley's, had a Charley's employee not beaten me there while I went to dispose of the empty bottle (should've thought to do the former first, but what I did in the first place was its own mistake), but returning outside to look for some motorcarts after ordering a cup of watermelon-strawberry lemonade (that another customer decided to foot after I placed) did dry my clothes most of the way up.

Mom spoke to me about such an impulse during the ride home.

Had the next day off.

Yesterday started in the low 60s, and actually felt somewhat chilly, but I didn't find myself shivering. An hour in, I texted Mom that I couldn't tell whether I was cold or had been feeling muscle aches indicating some kind of fever. She decided from there to go home to fetch me some pants and a sweatshirt, along with some coffee in her to-go cup to warm me up a bit. This was around 11, two hours after my shift began, and I wound up taking my first fifteen for the day slightly late to tie in with her arrival, having said coffee then instead of my protein shake or remaining Body Armor (I normally bring two of those), both of which I ended up having later.

Changed just into my pants after having had that coffee. My upper body was warm enough in just a t-shirt, but my legs still ached possibly from all the walking.

Had lunch at 1, and my shift ended at 4. Even after having a nap and then a shower after Mom brought me home, though, I still wasn't feeling that hungry for some chili that she had cooked up, and just went right back to bed.
