dmxratedMade some headway with the video, and got to the part where I demonstrate how to set up RMG Portable to run and display games properly. Thought I might set the inputs up while I was at it, but the input window did not respond to any buttons I pressed, even according to a video I probably looked up before.
Brought it up on Discord, and from what I was able to deduce with others (Device Manager wasn't displaying it beforehand, even though the computer did make a sound whenever I plugged it in), the computer itself probably just wasn't recognizing it.
To begin with, I would probably be more comfortable anyway with a wireless controller, given how far away the couch is from the desk, and I had bought myself one of those on eBay before someone would get back to me.
