dmxratedYesterday's shift was from 11:15 to 7. Mom came home from her job early to watch over Maris for Brian, and called to let me know, so that I could cancel my bus before she'd drive me. I made myself some peanut butter and jelly for lunch.
After asking me what I had after she arrived home, she asked me if that would be filling enough for until 3:15 (four hours after my scheduled start time), and offered to heat up some leftovers, before asking if I was already full from that sandwich.

Planned originally to order an early dinner at Southpaw. Just a few minutes before I'm actually supposed to start my meal break on the app, I noticed the ice cream truck stationed in front of the store. Looked on the left side of the parking lot for any stray motorcarts, and then went inside to order at Charley's instead, one minute before actually starting my break. Ordered some watermelon-strawberry lemonade instead of a cookies 'n' cream milkshake that I normally end lunch there with.
The truck was gone by the time I finished eating, and I went back inside to buy a pair of Halloween-sprinkled donuts. Took those to the break room, and while I normally eat just one of those anyway while saving the other for the next day, I spotted someone there with a slice of cake from the meeting room, and decided to have one for myself after finishing the one donut.
