dmxratedYesterday's shift was set from 11:30 to 7:00. Checked the SCAT app at 10, and it said my bus was 30 minutes away. Decided to have lunch at home, and made myself some peanut butter and jelly.
Arriving at the store at around 11, I bought myself a pair of cookies for my snack. Spotted Robert in the breakroom, and offered him one after communicating my meal break to him.
Mom told me later that she was gonna start cooking some mushrooms in the afternoon, to put in cream and then on rye toast. In contrast to such a filling burger I had the previous day that I barely had room for some fries that came with it, I decided to save room for dinner and have just a Nitro Cold Brew for my hour at 3:30.
Along with having room for dinner for when I'd come home, I was awake enough to stay up to watch an episode with her before getting ready for bed, despite how equally late my shift ended to the previous day.
