dmxratedYesterday's shift was scheduled to begin at 11:30. The SCAT app normally tells me if my bus is within half an hour of arriving if I open it before a 15-minute heads-up call, and it did not display that before I decided to microwave a frozen burrito for lunch.
Good thing I decided to have lunch at home before ordering a fudge brownie and a latte at Bagel Boss upon arriving at the store.

Ran into Robert in the breakroom where I went to put my hoodie and my drink bag away first, and gave him his copy of my online info.
Went on to spot a checkout attendant named Tom back at the pharmacy entrance while making my way over to Bagel Boss, and backtracked to retrieve his copy.
Now only Zinora remains.

With things wrapped up with Bagel Boss, I went over to Charley's for my first fifteen for some peach lemonade, and managed to use my discount properly this time. 21 cents remaining, but you can't use your points for two transactions within 24 hours. Will probably put that towards a soft-serve cone at some point.

While riding a motorcart into the building to return from outside the auto side-entrance, someone named Vinny asked me what's going on. I told him that tomorrow will be my last day working. We chatted for a bit, and at one point, I asked him if he's into video games, before sharing the original Google doc with him (he had to enter his email address, and I had to agree to share it with someone without a Google account).

Just before I'd take my hour, some old lady had trouble finding her car, and I took the time to help her out. She decided to tip me, but aside from a couple of singles that she figured wouldn't suffice, all she had was a fifty. I stuck around to help her load her stuff.
Just thereafter, I got myself a five for helping someone else load his stuff.

Planned originally on grabbing an early dinner at Southpaw at 3:30, but did not find myself very hungry by that point. Decided instead just to order a Nitro Cold Brew at Starbucks.
On my way there, I greeted another cart attendant named Nick, and we discussed my plans and rationale. Tried to dig up that file to share with him, but it somehow eluded me (it's called "Keeping in touch", and I was able to find it on both my house desktop and my phone this morning), so I simply told him what it contains and gave him my YouTube and Dreamwidth links (keyword DMXrated for both). He couldn't find my YouTube channel at first, but did find it under my actual username Economy. He subscribed immediately, and linked me in turn to his own channel.

Mom and I had already agreed to do some food shopping after my shift, before I turn my discount card in tomorrow. I shopped separately for some snacks, and got myself a pair of King Krumb cookies, an Oreo ice cream cake, some cookies-n-cream-iced square brownies, and a box of Krave, all to celebrate the end of my job.

Having abstained from such a particularly filling place as Southpaw, I had room for some of Nancy's meatloaf and some roasted potatoes by the time we got home.
