Nov. 6th, 2025 05:33 amOrdered a Southwest Wrap with sausage (eggs held) and a Cranberry Truffle smoothie at Tropical Smoothie Cafe upon arriving at the store yesterday at 8:30, spending 600 points on the former. Including what I earned for that purchase, I now have 1,621 points, so I am going to buy a dragonfruit bowl for 1,500 to go with a Very Berry Cranberry smoothie this morning.

It came to light on a Signal group called Clan yesterday at 9 AM, right when I actually started my shift, that Aunt Tracy is already at Aunt Marie's house and will be leaving on Saturday, with no option to extend her visit due to physical issues that Uncle Steve and their dog are going through. Mom and Aunt Marie both wondered who wound up misleading who about the agenda, but Marie my sister chalked things up to our communications having been stretched between several different threads, uploading three different screenshots in a single image.
Was going to introduce Tracy to A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, that essentially having usurped Lucky Star as my favorite anime as of late despite not only its fleeting relevance originally in 2008 but LS' much more prominent role as the source material for my main project in life, a fangame called Lucky Star: Day of the Beehive (or Starbound for short, since that's going to be a clone of Earthbound). Currently, we are considering another attempt to get together with her next spring, so if anything, now might be even better spent introducing Uncle Ray to Kanon, since Tracy had already seen that show's first episode (right after several late ones). (That would also be a nice change of pace for me, from showing the same few episodes of Sugar to yet another new viewer.)
At least, if we still find a chance after we finish from where we left off recently with Ponyo when Aunt Marie had to leave.

Before having signed in, I had bought myself a strawberry protein shake to have on my first fifteen, as opposed to the chocolate ones that Mom usually buys. I didn't find it to taste anything like a strawberry Nesquik, though.
-----
While I still hadn't been picking up loose change from the floor or ground (at least on Walmart premises), I decided right before my lunch hour at 1 to help myself to a slotful of change in the Coinstar machine. That amount went towards three different purchases before I put the rest in my change jar at home.
The first of those was a tip of $1.35 at Southpaw, where I had gone on to order a Signature Burger.
The second was towards that cone at Charley's, where, combining that remaining 21 cents on my app with a discount for Walmart employees, I ended up paying 85 cents, including a Canadian dime that the cashier just accepted before I could find a domestic one.
The last, after I concluded my shift, was for a box of winter mint chocolate Premier protein shakes, which costed $28.77. Managed not only to pay with two pennies too badly tarnished for Coinstar, but also to break that fifty for the dollar amount.
